INTRODUCTION
Forklifts are characterized by the presence of a load, usually cantilevered and raised to great heights. The stability of the forklift in use results not only from gravity, but also from the horizontal forces of inertia. The manufacturer is obliged to check the stability of his machines by means of very specific standardized tests. They must also clearly indicate the loads that must not be exceeded under different conditions of use.
Various attachments can be fitted to forklift trucks to improve efficiency.
