1. Logistics real estate: players, buildings, regulations

Real estate (which houses the static operations of logistics: warehousing, sorting, order picking, shipping) is one of the main components of the cost of logistics services (alongside the kinetic part of logistics: transport). Depending on the case, logistics accounts for between 20% and 50% of total logistics costs, and most often comes in second place, just after personnel costs. Logistics real estate is the product of numerous and complex regulations, involving a large number of players.
