2.1 Logistics real estate: a tool and a differentiating factor

A product generally passes through a succession of warehouses
The different types of warehouse through which a given product passes are complementary. For example, a product as simple as a packet of pasta will require several industrial warehouses (raw materials, packaging, finished product), and then, depending on its mode of distribution (export, mass retail, grocery stores or restaurants via wholesalers, e-commerce) will also pass through a succession of distribution, grouping/ungrouping warehouses, and therefore means of transport to its destination.
