4. Other risks and damage
In addition to the bodily harm suffered by employees, poor safety conditions can cause other major damage:
damage to or destruction of industrial installations (machinery, equipment, etc.), particularly in the event of fire or explosion;
damage to neighbors and the environment: deterioration or destruction of nearby facilities, accidents, nuisance to residents, water, air and soil pollution.
So measures taken to protect people often have an effect on the protection of property. The reverse is also often true. However, as protection requirements may conflict with property protection requirements, it is not possible to reduce personal protection to property protection.
