1. Basic principles

To provide the necessary coordination and synchronization of all their activities, manufacturers have gradually been led to implement organization and management methods based on concepts, methods and tools essentially founded on the management of internal and external customer-supplier relationships: the aim is to satisfy customer requirements while at the same time ensuring the economic efficiency of a supplier.
