2. The process of transforming a work situation

To understand the problem it was facing and find appropriate solutions, the company embarked on a project management process structured around the following stages.

2.1 Setting up a working group

It involved management, the occupational physician, the operators concerned and representatives of the CHSCT (Comité d'Hygiène, Sécurité et Conditions de Travail - Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee). Its role was to carry out a number of investigations with a view to drawing up a set of specifications for transforming the problematic situation. These specifications were drawn up taking into account the characteristics of the potters' work activities.
