2.1 Innovation

The products that industry sells to its customers have been designed to satisfy certain needs; to do this, they fulfil a number of functions. Some of these products, such as the Walkman, Post-it notes or the recent drug Viagra, have changed or are changing our daily lives through their innovative nature.
