Agent conversationnel animé; embodied conversational agent

Computer software with automatic natural language processing capabilities, enabling it to interact with users by responding appropriately to their questions. These systems also have an animated body, usually humanoid in shape, which enables them to adopt behaviors resembling those of human beings.

Chatbot; chatbot

Common name for a non-embodied virtual agent, usually in the form of a text dialog box.
