Maintenance assessment

Once the quantities have been measured and collected, the indicators can be calculated to provide numerical values. These values are only representative of behavior and can only be interpreted if they can be compared with benchmarks. Some of them have an ideal value a priori (for example, we'd like to see 100% availability, zero costs, zero stock-outs, 100% planned preventive interventions, zero budget overruns, etc.), but in reality they don't always constitute a good reference. In fact, they may not be optimal, as compromises have to be made and an excellent result on one indicator may only be obtained at the cost of a poor result on another.
