5. Information Processing in Preventive Maintenance

5.1 Treatment Characteristics

According to the NF EN 13306 standard, condition-based preventive maintenance is based on assessing the physical condition of equipment, analyzing the collected data, and implementing appropriate maintenance actions. Its objective is to detect potential failures early and establish an accurate diagnosis in order to determine the most effective methods for monitoring equipment degradation. The signals and images provided by condition-based monitoring systems make it possible to characterize different types of defects
