5. Parison blowing
5.1 Draping, pinching and pre-inflating
Once the parison has been ejected, it is prepared for blowing into the mold. This is the role of the draping table, made up of several elements (figure 33 )
Stretchers (figure 33 , 1-2) spread the parison before the mold is closed, to make it match the bottom of the mold cavity as closely as possible. This action is called draping. Draping ensures reproducible positioning of the lower part of the parison.
