Conclusion

Over the past five years, work on the interdependencies between critical infrastructures has been growing steadily. It focuses on all-hazards approaches aimed at reducing the vulnerability of systems and improving their resilience.

However, there is still a great deal of work to be done in this field. Indeed, many approaches remain at a strategic level, and few operational applications have yet been developed.

Most studies focus on the analysis of physical and geographical links between critical infrastructures. Logical links seem to be ignored, while cyber links seem to receive very little attention. What's more, when they are considered, cyber risks are seen from the angle of critical infrastructure security in the face of cyber threats. No program seems to consider the issue of critical infrastructure data dependency.
