7. Calculation of effect distances
In order to give an idea of the effect distances of each phenomenon, arbitrary scenarios are considered here. The fictitious installation used for this analysis is shown in figure 31 . It consists of a 9,200 m 3 tank positioned in a 4,900 m 2 square retention area. The nature of the stored product varies according to the scenario.
