4. Interpret the results with reference to non-regulatory measurements (conventional approach)

If there are enough measurements (six or more), the interpretation can be performed using the probabilistic approach as in step 3.

When their number is reduced, a table taken from issue no. 27 of the Transparencies brochure published in 1990 by the Department of Labor is often used as a guide for interpreting the measured values.
