4. How do you manage the obligations arising from marketing or manufacturing?

You have identified the substances manufactured and placed on the market within the meaning of the REACh regulations.

Your obligations, linked to the registration procedure, will depend on the tonnage manufactured or placed on the market per year. The threshold of one tonne per year triggers obligations to continue manufacturing or marketing a substance. The level of these obligations increases according to your tonnage. Depending on your substance and/or conditions of use, you may benefit from partial or total exemptions. These exemptions should be examined (see REACh: understanding the main principles and procedures [FIC 0121] ).
