5. What are the safety advisor's obligations?
Whether internal or external, the safety advisor must submit a report to the company by March 31st of the current year, covering the previous year and indicating :
the company's dangerous goods activity;
audit findings ;
actions taken since the previous year;
any accidents or incidents that have occurred during the year, with their analysis and the measures taken;
recommendations.
When a dangerous goods accident occurs, the safety advisor must draw up a report and submit it to the company's management within 4 months of the accident.
