1.1 Definition
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) means a low-pressure liquefied gas containing one or more light hydrocarbons assigned to UN numbers 1011, 1075, 1965, 1969, 1978 only, and consisting mainly of propane, propene, butane, butane isomers, butene with traces of other hydrocarbon gases.
Liquefied petroleum gases include the following:
UN 1011: butane (pure) ;
UN 1075: liquefied petroleum gases (code 1075 may be used instead of 1965 for road transport preceding or following sea or air transport);
UN 1965: hydrocarbon gas mixture, liquefied ;
UN 1969: isobutane ;
UN 1978: propane...
