4. Mandatory training for LPG transport

Depending on the type of LPG transport envisaged, different training courses are required for the driver. In addition to the training required to drive a vehicle, there are a number of other cases.

4.1 For transporting LPG cylinders

A distinction must be made between two cases:

  • transport of a total net LPG mass less than or equal to 333 kg ;

  • transport of a total net LPG mass exceeding 333 kg.

In the first case, according to the ADR, particularly in the case of partial exemptions, the driver may only have been made aware of the risks.
