Overview
ABSTRACT
The adsorption capacity of activate carbon has been utilized in an original way in order to improve the transfer of matter in organometallic catalysis reactions in aqueous phase. A catalytic process has been developed, in which activated carbon facilitates the encounter between a hydrophobic substrate and a water-soluble organometallic catalyst, by containing the species in pores. The catalytic transformations take place in the pore volume. The efficiency of this process has been proven in comparison to a model two-phase aqueous catalysis reaction. Furthermore, this catalytic system is recyclable, stable and environmental friendly.

INTRODUCTION
Abstract: The adsorption capacity of activated carbons can be exploited to improve material transfer in aqueous phase organometallic catalysis reactions. An original catalytic process has been developed, in which activated carbon facilitates the encounter between a hydrophobic substrate and a water-soluble organometallic catalyst by confining the species in the pores.
Abstract :The adsorption capacity of activated carbon can be used to improve the mass transfer in an organometallic catalysis reaction in aqueous phase. An original catalytic process was developed in which the activated carbon allows the meeting between the hydrophobic substrate and the water-soluble organometallic catalyst by a confinement effectof the species.
