7. Exhaust gas circuit
The engine exhaust gas circuit extends from the cylinder head outlet to the end of the ship's chimney, and includes the turbocharger turbines, the boiler (burnt gas/water vapor exchanger), the exhaust silencer, the exhaust gas pollution control system, and any residual energy recovery from the exhaust gases.
