5. In-service monitoring
There are two possible ways of monitoring service:
In-service monitoring with inspection plan;
in-service monitoring without an inspection plan.
The "inspection plan" terminology used in the Order of November 20, 2017 is quite specific. Indeed, it was already common industrial practice (mainly in classified facilities) to have inspection plans drawn up, particularly for periodic requalifications, often called inspection plans, detailing all the checks to be carried out during requalifications. The basis for these plans is the history of the equipment, feedback from previous inspections, and knowledge of potential modes of deterioration.
