1.1 Elastic supports

Under this heading, let's consider all the elements that support equipment and machines, in the etymological sense of taking up their weight.

Elastic supports must also meet the following objectives, with a level of priority that varies according to the application:

• compensate for errors or tolerances between the geometry of attachment points on the machine side and on the support side;
