10. Conclusion
Controlling soluble oils is now a strategic issue in industrial machining processes. Much more than simple cutting fluids, these complex emulsions perform a multitude of technical functions: cooling, lubrication, corrosion protection, chip removal, and maintaining machining performance. However, their effectiveness depends on rigorous management, from initial selection to daily maintenance, including regeneration and waste treatment.
Compliance with best practices in formulation, maintenance, analytical monitoring, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) not only extends the service life of fluids, but also ensures operator safety and controls costs. In a context of ecological transition and industrial optimization, systematic fluid regeneration is becoming an essential alternative to disposal, promoting the circular economy within workshops.
