8. Transition specifications

8.1 Differentiation between "transition" and "edges"

Transition specifications ( ISO 21204 ), contrary to the specifications for undefined edge shapes ( ISO 13715 ), manage surface connection concepts (chamfers, connection fillets) by considering adjacent elements.

Figure 29 shows the difference in indication between these two types of specification.
