3. Adjusting model parameters

Binary interaction parameters have to be adjusted on the basis of experimental data. Numerical methods are available for determining binary interaction parameters. To do this, it is important to define the "objective" function. Generally speaking, it depends on the type of calculation under consideration. Table 1 gives some examples of such functions.
