 INTRODUCTION

To make a building more energy-efficient, while meeting regulatory requirements for comfort and indoor air quality, various architectural, component and control recommendations need to be made, and several techniques exist to achieve low-energy air handling and air conditioning.

Air treatment in a building meets the requirements of various standards, in particular EN 16798 on energy performance and ventilation in buildings. It applies to non-residential buildings.

This data sheet covers the various performance requirements for ventilation and air-conditioning systems set out in standard EN 16798.
