3. Seek ways to finance the work

The two sources available to all companies for financing this type of project are government subsidies and equity capital. The first type of subsidy may come from EECs (energy efficiency certificates, see Evaluating the financial return on energy efficiency certificates (EECs) [FIC 1774] ).
