INTRODUCTION
The CEE scheme is based on a three-year obligation to make energy savings in CEE (1 CEE = 1 kWh cumac of final energy), imposed by the public authorities on energy suppliers ("obligés"). These "obligés" – number over 500 companies in France – and include energy suppliers (electricity, gas, fuel, etc.). They are thus encouraged to actively promote energy efficiency among energy consumers: households, local authorities or professionals.
CEEs are awarded, under certain conditions, by the Ministry of Energy to eligible parties carrying out energy-saving operations. These actions can be carried out in all sectors of activity (residential, tertiary, industrial, agricultural, transport, etc.), on the assets of eligible parties or with third parties they have encouraged to make energy savings.
This practical information sheet is aimed at eligible players in the industrial sector and enables them to :
identify standard operations applicable to your business sector;
identify specific operations applicable to your company;
evaluate the energy-saving lump sums involved in standardized operations;
assess the financial value of kWh cumac and recover the financial premiums associated with CEE.
