Ensuring the financial profitability of a new heat recovery project requires several phases to be carried out rigorously.

  • Phase 1: Evaluate the investment costs (CAPEX) associated with the recovery system. In addition to heavy equipment such as heat recovery units and heat exchangers, boilers or even chillers, include the cost of technical studies, fluid systems (piping, valves, thermal insulation as well as pumps and fans), electrical and control systems. Include any public subsidies (Ademe's Fonds Chaleur) and specific grants such as CEE.
