ADEME offers financial assistance for feasibility studies and investment in waste heat recovery equipment, subject to eligibility criteria. Projects must be part of a comprehensive energy efficiency approach, including upstream reduction of energy needs.
To submit a funding application, the following steps must be followed.
5.1 Prioritization of technical solutions
Prioritize internal recovery (same process or similar process).
Secondly, ensure external recovery (neighboring heating or industrial network) if possible.
Ensure cooling is provided if there is no need for heating.
