The energy audit report recommended above must include an assessment of energy consumption, quantified indicators corresponding to the cost of work, and a list of actions and/or work aimed at improving energy efficiency. In the case of renovation, the priority actions listed in the audit report should be selected to eliminate the three main sources of energy loss.

2.1 Insulation work

This work remains a priority, as there's no point in installing high-performance energy production systems in thermal flats. ADEME data show that priority should be given to insulating roofs, which can account for almost 30% of heat loss. Walls come second, with a loss rate of almost 25%.
