4. Launching and monitoring work

Once the work package has been drawn up, it's time to sort out the estimates requested in advance. We recommend calling in a project manager when several trades are involved in the work. Otherwise, you should entrust this responsibility to a supervisor, who should plan the dates of the various interventions. A pre-site meeting is held to start the work in chronological order. If necessary, the project manager or supervisor will check on the progress of the work. He may ask for new estimates before approving additional tasks. He or she is in charge of the worksite right through to handover.
