3. Should charging stations be installed?

3.1 Regulatory context

Companies are subject to several rules regarding the installation of charging stations.

  • Since 2021, the LOM law requires that 20% of parking spaces in new or renovated buildings be pre-equipped to accommodate charging stations.

  • Starting in 2025, this rate will also apply to existing parking lots with more than 20 spaces.

  • Any company renewing its fleet with electric vehicles must provide suitable infrastructure. Compliance with these obligations is verified during inspections related to environmental declarations or building permits.
