2. Role and benefits of cladding or siding
Cladding is an important element in building design because it fulfills several key functions. First, it contributes to the aesthetics of the structure by providing an attractive visual appearance. Second, it protects the building from the elements by helping to keep it watertight. In addition, it can contribute to thermal insulation by reducing heat loss or gain.
