5. Openings and views to the outside world or visual prospects
Except in exceptional cases (when the activity requires it), blind rooms are forbidden, and access to a certain visual prospect must be maintained. This communication with the outside world is essential to our equilibrium and enables us to "situate" ourselves in relation to the outside world. We know that, from this point of view, our visual system is very difficult to deceive. False windows in a blind room, when accepted, are not as real windows but, at best, as compensatory decoration.
