4. Conclusion

The two numerical examples, treated in their entirety, have shown that the present article provides all the tools and methods needed to evaluate the design moment resistance of a composite connection and its rotational stiffness, without neglecting to check its resistance to shear stress, more specific to the steel part of the connection.

Although very classic in design, these two examples nevertheless led to relatively long and detailed calculations, due more to the complexity of the steel components than the concrete ones, as illustrated by the difference in development between example No. 2 with bolted end plate and example No. 1 with contact plate.
