3. Construction-design coordination

If design is naturally at the heart of construction, then the problems of the sector lead us to make a few recommendations to better articulate design and on-site realization methods within the project.

Based on the information provided in the previous chapter, they can be organized around three topics that correspond to milestones in the construction process:

  • programming, whose role is to initialize any operation;

  • concurrent engineering, to ensure the effective mobilization of resources to develop an appropriate response;

  • measurement, which consists of assessing at any given time whether the solutions adopted meet the expectations expressed in the program.
