4. Arrangement of rows of seats or benches (article PA 9)
When mobile seats or benches are used, they must be either :
linked together in rows by means of rigid systems ;
fixed to the ground at their ends;
rigidly connected to neighboring rows to form blocks that are difficult to knock over or move.
All seats must be served by clearances running substantially parallel or perpendicular to the rows of seats.
Each row must have a maximum of 40 spaces between two aisles, or 20 between an aisle and a wall (or guardrail).
The rows must be arranged so as to leave a minimum clearance of 0.35 m between them, with the seats in the occupied position.
