6. Setting up a fixed technical installation

When the operator is required to set up a fixed technical installation, through the implementation of appropriate technical equipment, to ensure the continuity of the communication service, he must :

• collect the technical information required for its implementation and coordination with INPT from the Ministry of the Interior's information and communication systems department;

• by means of a technical file, inform the prefect of the département or, for Paris, the prefect of the police, of the radio continuity situation to be corrected and the nature of the equipment it plans to install;

• obtain approval from the prefect of the département or, in Paris, the prefect of the police.
