1. General provisions

1.1 Definition

The present specifications apply to control towers used for air traffic control, not occupied by premises other than those directly linked to the operation of the control tower, and where the lowest floor of the highest level (accessible to air traffic controllers) is more than 28 m high, within the meaning of article R. 122-2 (§ 7 of [TBA 3 054] ) of the French Construction and Housing Code.
