7.1 Residential homes

Residential homes include :

  • housing ;

  • living units ;

  • common areas ;

  • service areas (luggage rooms, laundry rooms, etc.).

They offer collective services, subject to the regulations governing establishments open to the public (meeting rooms, games, restaurants, etc.).

Fireplaces must include at least :

  • a staircase for up to 200 people;

  • two staircases for 201 to 400 people;

  • one extra staircase for every 200 or fraction of 200 extra people....
