2. Location

3rd family A buildings must be reached by a ladderway, so as to provide an accessible facade or part of a facade, depending on the geometry of the building. 3rd family B and 4th family buildings must not be more than 50 m from a machine track (distance measured between track and stairwell).

Note

This distance may be reduced at the request of the emergency services if the geometry of the terrain makes it difficult to intervene.
