INTRODUCTION
Site regulations and the pro rata account (as well as the inter-company account) are very important documents that determine the successful completion of a project.
Site rules cover the organization and operation of the site.
The pro rata account relates to expenditure incurred on behalf of all contractors, and is generally apportioned according to the amount of contract work.
The inter-company account relates to expenses incurred for certain companies, which will pay for them according to a defined proportion. These expenses are not included in the pro rata account.
Although these accounts, whose content and size depend on the characteristics of the site, are not compulsory, they are strongly recommended as they help to improve the conditions of the project and avoid financial disputes. They will therefore be examined in turn.
