3. Household appliances

Household appliances (refrigerators, washing machines and dishwashers, for example) incorporate an increasing number of functions and electronic systems to operate various actuators such as single-phase motors, electromagnets, lamps.... Certain functions are systematically present (figure 14 ):

  • regulated power supply ;

  • a microcontroller (MCU) ;

  • an interface including a display ;

  • alternating switches to control actuators...
