4. Conclusion

The analytical developments outlined in the first part of this article demonstrate that the operation of a line connected to a non-linear load can be reduced to the use of equivalent electrical circuits. However, we must be aware that this kind of approach is synonymous with a certain theoretical ideal. This ideal is embodied here by the absence of parasitic elements assimilated to various capacitances or inductances whose impact is obviously growing at the end of the spectrum. On the other hand, setting up equivalent electrical circuits presupposes the adoption of a reliable calibration procedure that can only be defined with the help of functional data.
