3. Conclusion

The study of soft switching in the case of a flyback structure with active clipping addressed several important points: setting up resonance with the circuit's passive elements, the importance and optimization of dead time, and the importance of transistor selection. Another aspect of this article, dedicated to the application to a gate drive component, addressed an original solution for reducing the parasitic capacitance of the transformer to reduce common-mode current flow. This is made possible by implementing switching with resonance based on the transformer's parasitic elements and an optimized planar transformer geometry.
