5. Analog and hybrid simulators
From the earliest days of electrical engineering, the study of these different regimes was hampered by the difficulties of manual calculation, due to the sheer volume of operations involved: complex networks, division into a succession of permanent states for the study of dynamic phenomena, and so on.
To overcome this difficulty, various tools have been developed: analog models, numerical models and hybrid models. These various models are adapted to the problems to be addressed within the framework of specific hypotheses.
