2.1 Public distribution architectures

Public distribution networks are built according to the density of substations to be supplied. Network connections in rural areas are often :

  • in less densely populated areas;

  • in arterial cuts in denser areas;

  • double bypass in urban areas.

Other schemes are also used from time to time, depending on specific constraints linked either to the network or to the user's needs.
