    Overview

    ABSTRACT

This article deals with the implementation of high-voltage electrical installations, in particular 20 kV installations. It addresses the choice and implementation of HTA materials, methods for verification and maintenance practice for HTA equipment, the design of premises or locations planned to receive high-voltage installations, and the special rules for HTA delivery substations. The article takes into account how installations have changed in response to user needs, equipment used and the evolution of installation standards.

     INTRODUCTION

In the first article, we set out the regulations, the characteristics of high-voltage installations and the safety features.

This article deals with the choice and implementation of equipment, operating, maintenance and verification conditions, premises or locations housing high-voltage equipment, and special rules for HV delivery substations with a voltage less than or equal to 33 kV and a current less than 630 A.

The choice of HTA equipment takes into account regulatory requirements for the protection of workers during work and interventions, as well as for the operation and management of installations. It also takes into account the distributor's requirements to ensure continuity of operation.

These changes have eliminated "open" installations, which are no longer energized by the grid operator.

A new approach to standards has made it possible to simplify the content of NF C 13-100 and NF C 13-200, and to include in NF C 13-100 all delivery substations with a voltage less than or equal to 33 kV and a current less than 630 A.
