3.1 Pruning
Pruning the line corridor to avoid the risk of tree strikes.
As pruning by mechanical means is more economical than manual pruning, it should be carried out whenever possible. As a result, the frequency of pruning should be sufficient to prevent regrowth from reaching a size requiring manual pruning, but it is sometimes necessary to carry out occasional corrective pruning. In Mediterranean countries, interventions must often be more frequent. In areas where pruning is not well tolerated, amputations will be less frequent. In certain sensitive areas, pruning is carried out twice a year (windbreaks, in particular).
